Green Fleet Systems (GFS) is an established transportation company serving the various business sectors that use the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles to ship and receive containerized cargo. We offer an array of services, with a focused expertise in harbor drayage – the process of transporting containers from the ports to various rail and distribution centers throughout Southern California.
Our number one objective is to build long-term relationships with our customers. We start by listening to and understanding what transportation challenges our customers face, and then we rely on years of knowledge and experience to provide flexible, efficient solutions to meet our customers’ needs.
Green Fleet Systems is currently in the process of expanding our solutions-oriented transportation service by implementing a fleet of alternative fuel, liquefied natural gas, (LNG) tractors. Once fully operational, our clean-burning fuel trucks will allow us to pass on added savings to our customers while we work to contribute to a clean environment.
Safety is also a very important part of our business. To meet our objective of operating accident free, we provide training for our drivers in several areas, including defensive driving techniques and general information about safe highway operations.
